Tricks of the Trade Show - How to Land Accounts on the Trade Show Circuit

For our first ever Apple Chat (a new feature of the Appleseed Series), we’ll sit down with some of our existing clients and welcome new faces to the table as we explore the world of trade shows!

In this facilitated discussion, we’ll begin with a question for the entire group to kick things off. We’ll listen to stories from the field—like the time AR’s Hot Southern Honey ordered a platter of chicken nuggets delivered to the Atlanta Food Show—and talk about some of the lessons our friends have learned along the way.

We’ll hit on subjects like:

  • Trade show goal-setting

  • Setting up an eye-catching display

  • Sampling

  • Entering juried contests

  • Following up with buyers to close the deal

The Fancy Food Show is right around the corner--June 23-25 in NYC, and the Virginia’s Finest Food Expo takes place March, 2020 here in Richmond. This is an excellent time to get prepared and learn from peers in the industry.
